Berrettini part ways with coach
Matteo Berrettini announced on his social networks the end of his collaboration with Francisco Roig.
The Italian climbed to 34th place this season and won three clay-court titles (Marrakech, Gstaad and Kitzbühel). But he struggled towards the end of the season, reaching only the quarter-finals in Vienna.
The two men part company less than a year after their collaboration began.
Berrettini thanked the latter on his Instagram account: "I thank him for the work he did this year, for his determination and the results we achieved together. It was an experience that allowed me to grow on and off the court."
