Berrettini takes the title in Marrakech!
Matteo Berrettini couldn't have been more reassured in Marrakech. This week, he kicked off his clay-court season there, just three weeks after returning from a 6-month absence due to injury.
The Italian won the title on Sunday. In the final, he fell behind 3-1 to Roberto Carballes Baena in the 1st set, before reversing the trend to win 12 of the next 16 games. In the end, he won in 1 hour 45 minutes and two sets (7-5, 6-2).
