Binaghi on Sinner's doping case: "He's already been punished enough".
Angelo Binaghi, President of the Italian Tennis Federation, commented on Jannik Sinner's second Australian Open title.
He mentioned the doping case involving Jannik Sinner, whose World Anti-Doping Agency appeal verdict will be handed down in April:
"I don't think they'll do anything to her. The events that are unfolding suggest that we're heading for a favorable outcome for him.
Envious people are trying to exploit this situation, but those who know the sport have no doubts about Sinner's fair play, and indeed, the greatest champions are on his side.
It's been almost a year, since Indian Wells, since he was deprived of his peace of mind. He's already been punished enough by having to play with the weight of something that didn't happen."
