BJK Cup - Colombia-France match schedule announced!
This weekend, France's Billie Jean King Cup team plays for its survival in the competition's elite when it takes on Colombia in Bogota.
The draw for the matches was made on Friday, and the fixtures to be played tomorrow and Sunday are now known.
The first match will pit Diane Parry against Emiliana Arango, a game to be played from 5pm (French time). Then it's Clara Burel's turn to represent Les Bleues against Colombian No.1 Camila Osorio.
Oppositions will be reversed on Sunday, and in the event of a 2-2 tie, doubles will be played. The French pair currently consists of Varvara Gracheva and Chloé Paquet, who will take on Yuliana Lizarazo / Maria Paulina Perez-Garcia.
In the event of victory, France would retain their place in the BJK Cup elite. And in the event of defeat, Julien Benneteau's players will play next year in the competition's lower division, Group 1.
