Bluffing, Nadal reaches the semi-finals in Bastad!

Is this player really 38? Is he really trying to make yet another comeback from injury? Is he really sure he wants to stop at the end of the year?

Rafael Nadal once again showed his fighting spirit and self-sacrifice on Friday.

Playing against 23-year-old surface specialist Mariano Navone, the Spaniard qualified for the semi-finals of the ATP 250 Bastad tournament after almost 4 hours of battle (6-7, 7-5, 7-5 in 3h59).

Faced with an Argentinian who was very much in his element and played his game as he knew how, Nadal alternated between the very good and the much more shaky, but in the end it was he who came out on top, mentally.

Bluffing, he will face Duje Ajdukovic (130th and a qualifier) this Saturday for a place in the final.

It just shows what a great competitor Rafa is, as let's face it, he has nothing to prove to anyone, but you can't take the will to win out of a true winner.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
