Bonzi through to second round in Adelaide due to withdrawals
The tournaments leading up to the Grand Slams are often plagued by withdrawals, and the ATP 250 in Adelaide is no exception.
After losing defending champion Jiri Lehecka, it was Jaume Munar's turn to withdraw. Manuel Guinard and Rinky Hijikata are the lucky losers and will face Roman Safiullin and David Goffin respectively.
Benjamin Bonzi, who qualified, takes Lehecka's place in the draw and benefits from a bye, meaning he is exempt from the first round.
