Bonzi will not defend his title in Metz
Benjamin Bonzi, the defending champion of the ATP 250 in Metz, will not be present this year, for the final edition.
Injured in his left leg, the Frenchman was forced to retire in the final set against Jiri Lehecka in Brussels. He subsequently withdrew from the Rolex Paris Masters.
Therefore, Bonzi will not play any more tournaments on the ATP tour for the 2025 season. However, he has been called up to represent the French team in the Davis Cup, but his participation likely remains uncertain.
With this loss of 250 points, the Frenchman will be on the verge of dropping out of the Top 100.
