Cahill responds to Sinner: "My future is in his hands"
Darren Cahill, coach of Jannik Sinner, has responded to the doubts concerning his future.
Hired by Sinner in June 2022, Darren Cahill had cast doubt over his future for the 2026 season, mentioning a need for rest after 40 years spent on the tour.
Nevertheless, it seems the 60-year-old man has since changed his mind, as evidenced by this statement relayed by journalist Giovanni Pelazzo:
"I am a man of my word. We made a pact at Wimbledon. My future is in his hands: if he wants me to stay, I will."
At a time when collaborations between players and coaches are made and broken at the rhythm of results, the pact revealed by Cahill illustrates the beautiful relationship the two men share.
