Aryna Sabalenka left the WTA Finals on a humorous note. During the press conference, the Belarusian discussed her defeat against Elena Rybakina (6-3, 7-6).

In Riyadh, around 10:40 PM, the world number 1 entered the press room smiling, humorously stating: "Can we make it quick? I want to go to the Maldives."

An amusing phrase that made the journalists present laugh. After that, she continued more seriously, highlighting her opponent of the day:

"She played incredibly. As for me, I gave it my all, and I am proud of what we have accomplished. So I am leaving this tournament without any disappointment. I am going to relax in the Maldives, probably with a glass of tequila, think about all this, and analyze my emotions. I just need to improve a bit more. Next year will be better."

An interesting statement that illustrates the very unique personality of the Belarusian.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
