Casper Ruud Soon to Be a Dad: His Unusual Revelation Before the Laver Cup
"We've been working off the courts": Casper Ruud's little comment made the journalists smile. The Norwegian spoke about the arrival of a happy event planned for next year.
For his fifth consecutive participation in the Laver Cup, Ruud will kick off for Team Europe against Reilly Opelka, an opponent he has defeated four times on the circuit.
The player, who will become a father to a little girl in 2026, was questioned by a journalist about this news he shared last week on his social media:
"Let's say I didn't play Wimbledon this year and there was time to do something different. So we have something special coming next year (laughs).
We've been working off the courts. If some were wondering, that's why I didn't go to Wimbledon."
