Davis Cup: Italy Triumphs Without Sinner — "He Was Right, We Didn't Need Him"
For the third year in a row, Italy has won the Davis Cup, this time by dominating Spain in the final.
A historic performance, especially since the Squadra Azzurra had to face the withdrawals of Jannik Sinner but also Lorenzo Musetti.
The president of the Italian Tennis Federation, Angelo Binaghi, commented on the absence of the world number 2 after his nation's new triumph:
"Sinner was right. He said we didn't need him because we have a great team. And that's what happened."
