Alex de Minaur has reached a major milestone in his career, breaking into the top 10 and reaching the quarter-finals in all four Grand Slam tournaments.
Present in Rotterdam, the Australian spoke about the changes in his career and his ambitions: "I feel like I've taken a lot of steps in the right direction over the past year.
I'm a better tennis player and I don't take lightly the enormous achievement of having reached the quarter-finals in every Grand Slam.
My main aim this season is to avoid injury and continue to progress. I want more and I'm looking forward to seeing what 2025 has in store for me.
There's a big difference between being 11th or 12th in the world and already being in the top 10. The media attention is greater and expectations are higher.
There's the privilege of playing in front of a home crowd at Rod Laver Arena, which also brings with it responsibility and pressure, because people expect me to win.
It helps a lot to share weeks of competition with Katie Boulter, it makes the time away from home more bearable.
Tennis players are away from home and separated from their families for too many weeks a year.
So it's important to maintain the routine of going out and exploring the cities where we play, to live a normal life.
The tennis aspect will always be demanding and stressful, so for me it's essential to do interesting and entertaining things off the court."
