Video - Bellucci's fine point against De Minaur in Rotterdam
First semi-final of the Rotterdam ATP tournament. For a place in the final, Alex De Minaur takes on the surprise package of this Dutch tournament, Mattia Bellucci, who eliminated Medvedev and Tsitsipas in his last two matches.
Determined to go all out, the Italian decided to treat the spectators.
At the start of the game, while De Minaur had taken the upper hand in the exchange by trying to make his opponent run, Bellucci managed to rebalance the proceedings by varying his strokes.
Thanks to a new-found length of ball, he finally drew the Australian into the net with a drop shot, before concluding with a winning shot by hitting the ball between his legs into the area left free by De Minaur (see video below).
Whatever the outcome of this match, Bellucci will have had a high-flying week, as evidenced by this point which was greeted by applause from the audience.
