De Minaur on the schedule: 'You just have to be a bit smarter'
In the podcast The Sit-Down, Alex de Minaur discussed managing the schedule, which is a very recurring theme among tennis players. For him, intelligent scheduling is crucial and allows one to get through it.
He explained: "You just have to be a bit smarter and manage your schedule better. This year, for example, I didn't play any ATP 250 tournaments. It's pretty incredible when you think about it.
'Not adding more pressure than necessary'
It's about managing that, managing the weeks, and also mentally, how we approach certain tournaments and not adding more pressure than necessary.
I've improved a lot in this area and obviously, when you're having fun, when you disconnect in the middle of tournaments and go out to dinner with friends, have a coffee, or explore the city."
