Dimitrov defeated by Korda on Queen's grass
Grigor Dimitrov has just been eliminated in the second round on the lawn of Queen's in London. The world No.10 was beaten 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 by Sebastian Korda on the Centre Court after two hours of battle. In the quarter-finals, the American will be the overwhelming favorite against Australian Rinky Hijikata.
Dimitrov seemed to be in fine form after his masterful first-round performance against Adrian Mannarino (6-1, 6-2). But the Bulgarian came up against a confident Korda, who confirmed his fine form of last week in S-Hertogenbosch, where he reached the final (beaten by De Minaur).
