Following that, Frenchman Alexandre Muller will face Lorenzo Musetti. The Italian still hopes to qualify for the ATP Finals but has no choice and must win the title to have a chance of being in Turin.
In the third match, the number 1 seed, Novak Djokovic, will take on Nuno Borges for a spot in the semifinals. After defeating Tabilo on Tuesday night in his opening match, the Serb hopes to win his 101st title by the end of the week, as he has still not 100% confirmed his participation in the ATP Finals.
