Djokovic continues his rise to power in Shanghai

Despite a tricky first match, Novak Djokovic seems to be gradually raising his game.

An easy winner over Cobolli in the third round, he didn't spend much more time on court this Wednesday.

Facing Roman Safiullin, who beat Bublik and Tiafoe, Djokovic played a full match, winning in just over an hour (6-3, 6-2).

Very solid in the rallies and impeccable on the important points, the Serb left his almost stunned opponent no option.

Impressively, he has reached the quarter-finals, where he will meet the very young Jakub Mensik, who beat Dimitrov.
