Tiafoe apologizes: "It's not who I am".

Beaten in the third round of the Shanghai Masters 1000 by Roman Safiullin, at the end of a very tense match, Frances Tiafoe made news, but not really in a good way.
Completely losing his cool, he repeatedly insulted the match referee.

A few hours after the incident, the American posted an apology on his social networks, clearly regretting his remarks.
He declared: "I really apologize for the way I acted tonight. It's not who I am and it's not how I want to treat people.
I let my frustration in the heat of the moment get the best of me and I'm extremely disappointed with the way I handled the situation.
It's not acceptable behavior and I want to apologize to the referee, the tournament and the fans. I'll be better for you all."

It's been my experience that when a person is very angry they speak from the heart. Anger overrides inhibitions. They say what they really feel, even it's something their normal checks and balances would never allow them to say out loud.
