Djokovic joins Sinner in Shanghai final!

Novak Djokovic has already made a successful return to China.

Having not played since the US Open, the Serb has just racked up 5 convincing wins to reach the final of the Shanghai Masters 1000.

Facing Taylor Fritz in the semi-finals, Djokovic secured his place in the final.

Dominant at the start of the match, he quickly took the lead before resisting the comeback of an increasingly aggressive Fritz to win in two sets (6-4, 7-6).

Not conceding a set all match, and even saving an equalizer at one set apiece, he now reaches the final, where a certain Jannik Sinner awaits him.

A promising match.
