Djokovic officially withdraws from Paris-Bercy!
The rumor had been swirling for several days and has now been confirmed by the Serb on his Instagram account.
Unsurprisingly, Novak Djokovic will not be taking part in the 2024 edition of the Paris-Bercy Masters 1000. The seven-time winner of the tournament and defending champion will not be taking part in the last edition of the event at Bercy.
The announcement was made on his Instagram account: "Unfortunately I won't be taking part in the Rolex Paris Masters this year. I'm sorry for everyone who was hoping to see me there. I have great memories of the tournament winning seven titles and hope to be there next year."
The world No. 4's withdrawal from Paris was expected and could be followed by another, this time for the season-ending Masters in Turin (November 13-20).
Djokovic's withdrawal allows Frenchman Alexandre Müller to enter the qualifying draw directly, without needing an invitation. The FFT has therefore decided to award the remaining wild card to Harold Mayot.
