Djokovic on the Sinner affair: "These circumstances are not positive".
Novak Djokovic will be making his return to competition at the Shanghai Masters 1000, which has just begun.
During a press conference, the Serb was logically asked about the latest twist in the Jannik Sinner doping affair.
As a reminder, the Italian had tested positive in March before being acquitted by an independent court and then seeing the World Doping Agency finally appeal the decision.
Djokovic commented: "This situation or these circumstances are not positive for our sport.
So I hope we can solve this case as soon as possible.
Whatever happens, at the end of the day, I just want the case to be resolved as quickly as possible."
