After a very solid first match on his Shanghai debut, in which he dominated Arthur Cazaux (6-3, 6-2), Ugo Humbert will now face his compatriot and friend Gaël Monfils for a place in the last 16.

Asked about the match, Humbert said with a smile: "I'm very happy, very happy to be playing Gaël.

He's a good friend of mine, I've known him for a few years, so yes, I'm super happy, and it's going to be a great match."
