Forced to retire yesterday in his semi-final against Alexander Zverev due to a torn thigh, Novak Djokovic clearly had one last message to send to his detractors before taking time to recover from his injury.

On his social networks, the Serb, in a somewhat sarcastic tone, posted a photo of an ultrasound performed on his thigh with the following caption:

"Thought I'd leave this for all the sports injury 'experts' out there."
