Djokovic to play with Serbia in Davis Cup 1st round
Novak Djokovic declared a few days ago that he would play "more tournaments" than in 2024, and this has already been confirmed with his announced participation in the 1st round of the Davis Cup at the beginning of February.
Serbia, who will travel to Copenhagen to take on Denmark, will be lucky enough to be led by the former world No. 1, as captain Viktor Troicki informed us: "We're going to field the strongest possible team, which will be led by Novak Djokovic.
We always want to have high expectations, whatever the opponent. So it'll be the same against Denmark.
We'll all be getting together to travel from Australia to Copenhagen."
The other players on the list are Miomir Kecmanovic, Dusan Lajovic, Hamad Medjedovic and Laslo Djere. They will face Denmark, represented by Holger Rune, ranked 13th in the world.
