Djokovic faced British player Daniel Evans for the second time in his career, with Evans having won their only previous encounter (Monte-Carlo in 2021).

In a completely one-sided match, the Serbian was never troubled during the one hour he played today. With 16 break points created, the former world No. 1 was never in trouble on his serve, except during the final game of the match when he had to save two break points before ultimately delivering a bagel to his opponent.

With 46 winners and conceding only 9 points on his serve in this match, he advances to the third round of Wimbledon for the 19th time.

Winning 6-3, 6-2, 6-0 in this battle of veterans, he now joins his compatriot Kecmanovic in the third round. On a mission for a 25th Grand Slam, he has just secured his 99th victory here in the meantime.
