Djokovic's fair play after losing to Opelka: "Exceptional tennis, Reilly".

Djokovic's fair play after losing to Opelka: Exceptional tennis, Reilly.

Novak Djokovic was knocked out in the Brisbane quarter-finals, stunned by American giant Reilly Opelka and his steely serve.

Without a solution, the Serb was unable to break the American, who was also on a great day with 77% of his first serves and 78% of points won behind it.

Djokovic's defeat means he can prepare for Melbourne with a little more time on his hands, where he will be accompanied by his new coach Andy Murray.

In the meantime, he posted a very fair play story on Instagram with a photo of the match handshake and these few words:

"Exceptional tennis, Reilly. Absolutely deserved. Good luck." (see publication below).
