Doing things that bring joy and peace to my soul," Ana Bogdan's emotional message

Dropped to 241st in the rankings, Ana Bogdan is having an extremely difficult year. Struggling with results, the 32-year-old player suffered a severe knee and ankle injury during a training session. Emotionally drained, she now wishes to take a break to rediscover the joy she says she has lost for some time. On her social media, she shared the following message:
"Dear friends and fans,
I wasn’t emotionally ready for this moment, especially after feeling and trying to come back to play again. That’s why I took the time to write these words and share them with you. Life’s paths are always unpredictable, and we must live each day to the fullest, because the moments we experience today may no longer be possible tomorrow.
I injured my knee and ankle during training and played the Iasi tournament in a lot of pain. Only my team and I knew. I thought it wasn’t too serious, but after the MRI, it seems both injuries require several weeks of rest.
I don’t know when I’ll be able to return to where I felt at home. The past year and a half has been very hard for me, both on and off the court, and I feel like my mantra is no longer to be strong, but rather to be softer and kinder to myself. I no longer see life as a struggle. I no longer see life as a battle.
Life isn’t that. Life is the joy of being and co-creating with the Universe. The deeper we connect with ourselves, the more we discover what truly makes us who we are. Sometimes, we just need to let life flow, let it unfold at its divine pace, and let things align for the greatest good of all.
I’ll take the time to recover physically, but I’ll also use this time for myself and do things that bring joy and peace to my soul.
See you soon!
