Draper Becomes Ambassador for a Major Luxury Brand
Draper's victory in Florida has caused a stir in the media. After reaching the quarterfinals at the Australian Open and a final in Doha, the Sutton (UK) native is gradually living up to the expectations placed on him.
Ranked No. 7 in the ATP, the 23-year-old player has broken into the top 10—a remarkable achievement for a British player. These standout performances have led Draper to sign with a major luxury brand.
Burberry has now officially become the player's sponsor. Founded in 1856, the company has been publicly traded since 2002.
According to data firm Launchmetrics, the tennis player holds an estimated $2.6 million in media impact value, directly from his social media presence.
"It’s inspiring to see Jack Draper representing Great Britain with such a high level of commitment. He is already one of the most talented athletes of his generation.
We look forward to watching his matches in the coming months," said Daniel Lee, Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer.
