Draper: "No matter my ranking, I always stay true to myself"
Jack Draper will look to build on his strong performance in Madrid, where he reached the final, as he continues his highly successful start to the 2025 season at Rome.
Now ranked world No. 5, the Brit shared his mindset in a press conference: "No matter my ranking, I always stay true to myself.
I use fear and doubt as motivation to bring out my best in every match. Nothing changes, no matter my level.
Rankings are important, but winning a Masters 1000, some ATP 500s and ATP 250s, and reaching a Grand Slam semifinal last year have all given me a boost when I’ve felt down.
I can tell myself, ‘You’re a good player, Jack, don’t worry.’ Those results help you stay confident."
