Draper not confirmed, Paul in the semi-finals!

It's always difficult to follow up a great result. That's exactly what Jack Draper has just found out the hard way. Having started the grass-court season at a very high level, he made his mark on Thursday by upsetting Carlos Alcaraz in the last 16 of the Queen's tournament (7-6, 6-4).
A prodigious winner on Thursday, his return to earth was difficult. Up against a very opportunistic Tommy Paul, he was unable to rediscover the quality of play he had shown against Alcaraz the day before. Subdued a little too much in the rallies and on the return (conceding his serve 4 times in the match), the current world No.31 was forced to give up after just over 2 hours of play (6-3, 5-7, 6-4).
Tommy Paul has now quietly qualified for the semi-finals of the Queen's tournament. This Saturday, he will face the winner of the match between Korda and Hijikata.
