Fils' unlikely statistic against Zverev
Arthur Fils put up a tremendous fight against Alexander Zverev to claim his first ATP 500 title on Hamburg clay. He made the difference mentally against the German, who was playing in front of his home crowd.
One statistic perfectly illustrates the solidity shown by the young Frenchman (20) in the most important moments of the match. He saved 21 of Zverev's 22 break points, i.e. 95%. Amazing.
Add to that his 41 winners against just 17 unforced errors, and it's safe to say he thoroughly deserved to lift the most important trophy of his career.
