First Australian Open wild cards announced!

The Australian Open is just around the corner, and the first wild cards have now been announced. On the men's side, Stan Wawrinka, James McCabe, Tristan Schoolkate, Li Tu and Nishesh Basavareddy have all received invitations.

Kasidit Samrej had previously won a wild card by winning the Asia-Pacific play-offs. Lucas Pouille's was announced shortly beforehand.

On the women's side, Ajla Tomljanovic, Daria Saville, Talia Gibson, Maya Joint and Emerson Jones are the wild card players.

Chloé Paquet is the French wild card and Zhang Shuai is invited as she won the Asia-Pacific play-offs.
