For Roddick, Alcaraz is already a legend: He already has icons of the game in his sights.

Carlos Alcaraz's exploits have been on everyone's lips since the Wimbledon final.

At just 21 years of age, the Spanish prodigy already boasts four Grand Slam titles.

Already titled at the US Open 2021 and Wimbledon 2022, he has just completed an incredible Roland Garros / Wimbledon double.

With his brilliant performance in the final against Djokovic, 'Carlito' has left a lasting impression and many experts are now wondering just how far he can go.

Indeed, if he keeps up this pace, the native of El Palmar could potentially go hunting for title records in the "big three".

On this subject, Andy Roddick, former world number 1, has a very clear opinion. For him, Alcaraz has already become a legend of our sport: "We're witnessing something special and we're very lucky that, in the vacuum of the Big 3, we have not only Carlos (Alcaraz) but also Jannik (Sinner), who operates in a different way.

He's incredibly fun to watch, he's emotional, he's happy, he's respectful and he's a keeper of the game.
Carlos is already a legend.

Now, he already has in his sights icons of the game like Stefan Edberg, Boris Becker (6 Grand Slams each), Jimmy Connors and Andre Agassi (8 Grand Slams).

You won't find many people betting against him to overtake these big names."

Regardless of how you feel about the kid, the fact he won the French Open and then Wimbledon back-to-back, at just 21 years old, is kind of insane. Legend status for sure
