Taylor Fritz will face Casper Ruud in the night session this Tuesday for a spot in the Madrid quarterfinals.

A widespread power outage in Madrid on Monday led to the postponement of all matches, except for three that were able to finish before the outage.

Fritz wasn’t affected by the incident since he wasn’t scheduled to play that day. On X, he chose to joke about the blackout: "Did they try turning it off and on again?"
