Fritz Overcomes Berrettini to Reach Miami Semifinals

Taylor Fritz defeated Berrettini after a grueling 2-hour and 46-minute battle. This Miami Masters 1000 quarterfinal lived up to all expectations.
The American triumphed 7-5, 6-7, 7-5 in a match that could have slipped away after he squandered 6 match points in the second set.
He managed to regroup in the third set, relying heavily on his serve, losing only 7 points across 6 service games.
In his post-match interview, Fritz reflected on the missed opportunities: "Now I can go to sleep and not be too upset about the chances I let slip."
He will face Jakub Mensik for a spot in the Miami final.
