Garcia, Gracheva, Burel, and Parry Selected for the French BJK Cup Team
To compete in the group stage of the Billie Jean King Cup in Group 1, Julien Benneteau has revealed the list of players who will travel to Vilnius, Lithuania.
As expected, Varvara Gracheva, ranked 70th in the world and France's top player, has been called up, alongside Caroline Garcia (71st), who is making her return to the team. Dianne Parry (90th) and Clara Burel (142nd) are the other two players completing the roster.
France is placed in a qualifying group with Sweden and Turkey. The French team only needs to finish in one of the top two spots in their group to advance to the quarterfinals.
A victory in the quarterfinals would take them to the World Group playoffs in November.
This group stage will take place during the second week of April.
