The Australian Open draw took place on Thursday. Caroline Garcia will face Naomi Osaka in the first round, as she did last year in Melbourne.

Garcia reacted ironically on her X account: "New year, same draw. Starting to be a classic."

During this confrontation at the Australian Open in 2024, Garcia emerged victorious, with a score of 6-4, 7-6, before losing in the second round to Magdalena Frech.
