Gasquet suffers thigh tear and forfeits Pau match

Richard Gasquet was due to play his Round of 16 match against Arthur Fery at the Pau Challenger.

Unfortunately for the Frenchman, he was unable to defend his chances.

He arrived on court to explain that he was suffering from a torn thigh and had to forfeit the match.

He had just returned from Mexico, where he played a leg of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown in Guadalajara.

Gasquet is still expected in Indian Wells for the qualifying round.
