Gauff, Rybakina, Andreeva: Thursday, July 31 Schedule in Montreal

This Thursday, July 31, marks the start of the third round in the WTA 1000 tournament in Montreal. All eight singles matches of the day will be played on the two main courts.

On the Center Court, the action will begin at 6:30 p.m. (French time) with the match between Marta Kostyuk and Daria Kasatkina. Shortly after, the tournament’s top seed, Coco Gauff, will face Veronika Kudermetova.

In the evening session on the same court, starting at 1 a.m. (still French time), Canadian rising star Victoria Mboko, 18, will have a shot at victory against Marie Bouzkova.

Finally, Elena Rybakina, who is emerging as a strong contender for the title in Quebec, will close the day’s schedule on Center Court against Jaqueline Cristian. The other four matches of the day will take place on Rogers Court.

The first match early in the day will feature Zhu Lin against Suzan Lamens. Next, Mirra Andreeva, who will play her first match in the tournament after Andreescu’s withdrawal in the previous round, will face No. 28 seed McCartney Kessler.

Starting at midnight, Jessica Bouzas Maneiro will take on Aoi Ito, who upset Paolini in the previous round. Finally, one of the day’s most exciting matchups will see Dayana Yastremska and Emma Navarro battle for a spot in the quarterfinals.

On the outer courts, doubles matches will be held throughout the day. Find the full schedule for the WTA 1000 tournament in Montreal below.
