Godsick, Federer's Agent: His Real Generation Was Roddick, Safin, Hewitt…

Federer, Nadal, Djokovic: a legendary trio, but not necessarily from the same generation. Tony Godsick, the Swiss player's long-time agent, shared his analysis on this often overlooked difference.

Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic have made tennis history with their records, their respective talents, and the epic duels they have offered fans.

However, Federer, older than his two rivals, already had a career full of success when Nadal, and then Djokovic, managed to compete with him.

Guest on Andy Roddick's latest podcast, Tony Godsick, Federer's agent, discussed this generational difference within the Big 3:

"I always say that his generation wasn't that of Nadal and Djokovic. It was more you (addressing Roddick), Safin, Nalbandian, Hewitt, and all those guys. They were completely different."
