Varvara Gracheva faced Caroline Dolehide in the second round of the WTA 250 tournament in Austin.
The match started poorly for the French player, as she was trailing 5-2 and 40-0 on the American's serve.
However, she found the strength to win the next 5 games and take the first set 7-5.
Unfortunately for her, Gracheva collapsed afterward, losing the next two sets 6-2, 6-2.
Dolehide will face Greet Minnen, who defeated Suzan Lamens.
