Granollers/Zeballos Pair Triumphs in US Open Men's Doubles Final

Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos have just etched their names into the history of the US Open men's doubles.
The Spaniard and the Argentine, partners since 2019, won the final in three sets (3-6, 7-6, 7-5) against the British duo Neil Skupski and Joe Salisbury.
This marks their second Grand Slam title together after Roland-Garros last June. Granollers and Zeballos had previously suffered their first final defeat in New York in 2019, when they were beaten by Colombians Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah (6-4, 7-5).
In the ATP rankings, the two players will make their return to the top 10, securing the 5th and 6th spots worldwide. They also secure their ticket to the ATP Finals in Turin (November 9-16), currently sitting second in the Race behind Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool.
