Halep: "I've been against doping all my life".
Simona Halep has been subjected to the law, sometimes almost too harsh, of the anti-doping authorities.
Suspended for a year and a half and only timidly returning to competition since March, the Romanian doesn't seem to have fully digested the way the relevant authorities have treated her individual case.
In an interview with "We are tennis", she declared: "I can't say what they need to change.
It's not my business, because I'm not a professional in this field.
I've been against doping all my life. I was very vocal, and it came back to me. A lot of people judged me for talking about Sharapova in the past. This is a different case.
It's not the same thing. People have to understand that. But whatever happens, the authorities have to do something to give the players a chance to solve the problem."
