Halys in the semi-finals at Gstaad!
It would seem that the latest Wimbledon tournament has completely revitalized Quentin Halys.
A qualifier, the Frenchman made it all the way to the third round, upsetting Khachanov (4-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4) and pushing Rune all the way in 5 sets (1-6, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 6-1).
Without hesitation, the current world No.192 headed for the ATP 250 in Gstaad. Coming through qualifying with flying colors, he made the most of a mild draw.
With wins over Gasquet (7-6, 7-6), Klein (6-3, 6-7, 6-4) and Heide (6-1, 7-5), Halys is now well on his way to the semi-finals.
Refreshingly, the Tricolore will challenge the winner of the duel between Struff and Etcheverry for a place in the final.
