Sinner and Alcaraz are currently sharing the biggest trophies on the ATP tour. While no other player seems capable of troubling them, American Ben Shelton could emerge as a potential third man, according to Nicolas Escudé.

"He had a fantastic summer by winning in Canada. He was surprising for a while, even on clay. I didn’t expect him to reach this level so quickly. At the US Open, I was counting on him to upset an Alcaraz or a Sinner (he got injured in the third round).

For now, Djokovic is still the third man, but in the future, it could be Ben Shelton." These remarks were made on the Eurosport set.

As a reminder, Escudé is a former professional player (career-high ranking of 17) who also served as the National Technical Director (DTN) of the French Tennis Federation (FFT) between 2021 and 2024.

Hello I'm new

2j

I am surprised about relatively low attendance at Roland Garros which was the most popular slam 20+ years ago. I myself love it as well as really loving aus and us opens. I don't care about Wimbledon, sometimes maybe I can watch women's tennis. I hate Wimbledon's white dress code, I feel like I am watching junior tennis...I watched very few matches like Graf davenport final in 1999 the last time.....

It will really be befitting if he attains his 25th Grand Slam crown at the AO for he's truly the GOAT & this will stamp him & endorse his GOAT status without an iota of doubt

Almost as important to Djokovic as Slam #25--and requiring less luck--is beating Federer's total of 103 singles titles. He'll play 250s, and might even surpass Connors's 109.
