A successful Asian tour for Daniil Medvedev? Although he didn't win a title or even reach a final, the Russian can be satisfied with his month spent in China, having reached the quarterfinals in Hangzhou and then the semifinals in Beijing and Shanghai.

"It's a shame. There was really only one game in the second set where I could have played a bit better. Overall, he served well. I had to guess where his serve was going to land and unfortunately I wasn't good at that game.
It's a shame, but we can't change the match result. He deserves to be in the final, he played a good match. I could have played better at certain moments but it didn't work out. [...]
I mainly feel fatigue. It was a very physically difficult tournament with these weather conditions. I'll have a few days to recover. It's still a successful tournament. I can do much better, but it's already better than before.
