Mouratoglou looks further ahead: "They represent the future of tennis"

In a video posted on his Instagram account, Patrick Mouratoglou gave his analysis on two young prodigies who, according to him, have already changed dimensions.

Victoria Mboko, a meteoric rise... and brutal pressure

On the women's side, Mouratoglou highlights Victoria Mboko, whom he describes as a revelation almost too fast for her own good.

"She had an incredible season while being outside the top 100. She won a WTA 1000, then the pressure became enormous.

However, she has the whole package to become an icon: the quality of her game, her physical abilities, her personality..."

João Fonseca, the Brazilian who could shake up the hierarchy

Then comes the most anticipated moment of his analysis. João Fonseca, a young Brazilian talent, is at the heart of all hopes.

"I say the same for Fonseca. His progression is exponential, but imagine the support of Brazilian fans... it's magnificent, but also a huge responsibility for such a young player," he explains.

Before adding: "Potentially, in the coming years, he could compete with Alcaraz and Sinner."

Mouratoglou tempers: not immediately, perhaps not as soon as next season. But the message is clear: Fonseca has everything it takes to establish himself in the battle at the top.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
