Carlos Alcaraz delivered an impressive performance on Tuesday night, defeating Tommy Paul in just 1 hour and 34 minutes of play.
When asked if he and Jannik Sinner exchange messages from afar with such strong performances from both players,
Alcaraz replied: "I don’t know. Obviously, I love watching matches on my days off. And yes, let’s say he inspires me, in a way, to give 100% in every match.
And I see how important it is to play at such a high level throughout the match, to have more time to recover afterward. I try to do the same. I try to stay really focused the entire match.
And I see the importance of having more time to recover before the next matches. For me, it’s amazing to play tennis.
I love Grand Slams because on my days off, I get to watch incredible matches, and I draw inspiration from them.
