"I always have big goals," Djokovic talks about his 100th title in Geneva before Roland-Garros
Novak Djokovic will make his entrance this Tuesday at Roland-Garros. The Serbian, who just celebrated his 38th birthday, has experienced some eventful days, between winning his 100th career title against Hubert Hurkacz in Geneva and participating in the ceremony held in honor of Rafael Nadal on Court Philippe-Chatrier.
In a press conference before facing Mackenzie McDonald this afternoon on the Parisian clay, the former world number 1 reflected on his triumph in Geneva which has restored his confidence before the second Grand Slam of the year.
“I needed to win matches, especially on this surface. I am the type of player who needs to play several matches before tournaments like Roland-Garros.
That’s why I went to Geneva. Ruud withdrew, even though he had dominated the tournament for the past three years. I can only thank him for not coming and letting me win!
Of course, my feelings right now are totally different from those two weeks ago. When you lose several matches, you start to doubt your game and you can't arrive with that mindset at Roland-Garros.
Now, I already want to win my 25th Grand Slam title, but, after this title in Geneva, I feel a little more confident now. I feel much more positive about my game and I needed to reach this level before thinking about a tournament like Roland-Garros.
I always have big goals and big ambitions. I will focus on my first round, and then, I hope to achieve the best possible result here," Djokovic explained to Punto De Break.

Even that he's having way more 250's than Novak.
Or, was that because Rafael has already reached his goals......same as you did....LOL
