Legend Monica Seles, a Novak Djokovic fan, will be in attendance to watch the US Open semifinal between the Serbian and Carlos Alcaraz.

In a brief interview with Sportklub, the nine-time Grand Slam winner revealed that she will be cheering for the former world No. 1 from the stands of Arthur Ashe Stadium:

"I came here to support Novak. I know he needs all the energy possible, and I will do my best to help him from the stands. No one knows what his chances are. It's like asking me what my chances were against Steffi Graf or Martina Hingis. There are many factors, but the most important thing is that Novak is fully focused.

I won't be in his box because I don't want him to change anything. I'm very superstitious. I just came to watch his match. I drove eight hours to support him here. All that matters is that he wins."

Seles also attended Djokovic's practice earlier in the morning in New York.

Born almost by accident in an Acapulco garden, padel has in fifty years become a global phenomenon that both fascinates and worries tennis. Its meteoric rise is already reshaping the landscape of racket sports.

Since February 2022 and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Ukrainian sport has been heavily affected by human, structural and economic losses. Tennis has, of course, not been spared. While Ukrainian athletes have had to rethink their entire organization, an entire country, behind the scenes, has had to adapt and change its training conditions. This extends all the way to the highest level, where professional players have spoken out, trying as best they can to help their nation.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
